Music of the Day

I've been listening to loads of Funeral for a Friend lately. These guys have been one of my favorite bands for the last 4 years, and they never disappoint. Their new album Memory and Humanity is in my eyes their best work yet. Check them out for sure.

BodyFlow

Rocked some Bodyflow today, I must say my body feels amazing after the class and highly recommend it.

Monday, March 30, 2009

This coming Thursday or possibly Friday, I will be teaching a kickboxing/martial arts class for 45 minutes. I have my music almost all picked out, and did a warm up for the class today, and I think they liked it. I'll keep everybody posted on how it goes.

Cheers,

Trevor

Dream 8

The featherweight tournament continues and the welterweight tournament begins this coming weekend, with favorites Shinya Aoki and Sakuri facing off in the first round, which is a shame. Sakurai had previously beaten Aoki in 2005, so it should be a great battle, with aoki most likely getting the submission victory.

Music of the Day

I been listening to the album "Wavering Radiant " by Isis for the last week, and it is incredible; all around great music.

I'm back!

Ahh finally moved all in. It's a great feeling and I have an awesome new place downtown Fredericton. come visit sometime..

Lack of posts

Sorry people that check on my site! Thanks a lot if you do. I've had a very busy week, consisting of moving to another apartment, and making a 45 minute fitness routine for class. After I get settled into the new place tonight, expect loads of updates ranging from Step Class, UFC 97, K1 Tournament (tonight) Dream 8, the joy of nice weather, many movies, and music of the week!

Cheers everybody,

Trevor

BodyCombat

So i have the pleasure to attend a Bodycombat class tomorrow morning at Goodlife. Spin class was intense, but I think this just might get the ol' lactic acid building even more. Hopefully I end up being a mini Remy Bonjasky. haha

Music of the Day

I've been listening to a lot of Thursday lately. They just released their new album "Common Existence" last month and it's equally as good as "Full Collapse " or even better. Defiantly check it out.

MMA Lockdown

Just would like to give a shout out to the new forum I have joined "MMA Lockdown". Fantastic site already.

Finishes of 2009 (MMA)

I thought for my birthday, I would share to everybody one of the best MMA highlights I have seen in a long time. Fantastic music to set the mood, and great use of slow motion and effects. Enjoy!

I'm 22 and feeling old. haha

Cheers!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Music of the Day

Today I'm in the mood to listen to a little heavier band. The new album "Hollow Crown" by Architects is a great album, with crunching guitar, great drums, and a great mix of screaming and singing. Recommend this CD for sure.

Studies

This is what I'll be studying for most of the day today, the flow of the heart, parts of neurons, and the three energy systems.

Renzo Gracie : Legacy

I just got finished watching this fine documentary, and if you have any interest in MMA or even just Jiu Jitsu, then I highly recommend it. Renzo is always a bright character, and somebody that you can really look up to. Watch Renzo fight in Japan, Brazil, and the United States in the first 10 years of his great MMA career, and hear some of his insane stories from growing up in Brazil, including an MMA fight which turned into an arena riot, guns included.

Cheers,

Trevor

AquaFit

Tomorrow is going to be pretty interesting and fun. The class and I are going to the YMCA and are going to do AquaFit. This will be my first time and I'm quite excited, even bought some really stellar Aqua approved shorts. A sore body is defiantly in store.

BIRTHDAY

Good day everyone! So this coming Tuesday I turn 22 and my plans are to .. have the drunkest/best weekend ever, and hopefully see some of my best buddies. So if you are reading this, now you know, come see me!

Music of the Day

They are one of my favorite bands of all time, and do not have a bad song through their numerous albums, that band is New Found Glory. Released today is unquestionably their best album yet "Not Without A Fight". All I have to say is BUY IT, or download it to hear the pure greatness of these pop-punk legends, and then BUY IT.

Dream 7 Highlight

Wow, I must say I've found the award for "worst time for showboating ever"; you do not showboat against Shinya Aoki (he's a mix of snake and a alligator) and especially when he has your back.

"Hi Japan!" .. more like "Goodnight Japan!"

Supplements

If you are looking into taking supplements (and feel better all around) I highly recommend these two products which I take daily.

MMA

Wow what a good weekend of MMA. Dream 7 featherweight tournament kicked off in Japan, and UFC 96 Redemption. Many great knockouts, with one of my favorite fighters (Gaberiel Gonzaga) getting his head knocked off my a vicious punch. Dream is not as known as the UFC, so if you missed any of the fights, check out any MMA blog and they will be there. Shinya Aoki, argueabily the best grappler/jui jitzu fighter in the world, also had his first welterweight fight.

More to come.

I would just like to thank everybody who has been checking the progress of this blog. There is going to be much more to come and I hope to be doing this.. forever! Leave any comments or suggestions for the site if you would like. I'm just getting use to this, so be patient! :)

Cheers,

Knockout

One of my favorite knockouts from Pride superstar Mauricio Shogun Rua!

Enjoy! :)

Trevor

UFC 96

UFC 96 is in Columbus, Ohio this weekend with headliner Rampage Jackson vs. Keith Jardine. I really like both these fighters, so I see it going either way. Jardine has a very suspect chin and Rampage has the most powerful hands in MMA right now. I see Rampage with a 1st or 2nd round KO. On the other hand Jardine may beat his legs to hell for a decision. Going to be a good fight.

Music of the Day

I've been listening to Polar Bear Club's new CD "Sometimes Things Just Disappear" all day today. Fantastic band with great energy. Highly recommended.

Broccoli.

I had the most delicious steamed Broccoli in my life tonight, made my yours truly. Great with any meal, or just by itself!

WEC 39

Wow WEC 39 was a great event last night with many excellent fights. Total domination by Featherweight Champion Mike Thomas Brown. Jose Aldo showed once again he's got insane knee's.

Canada's Food Guide

Formula 1 Season

March is one great month. One of my favorite sports is kicking off another season and I could not be more stoked. My favorite Finnish racer KIMI RÄIKKÖNEN will hopefully win this year. Damn you Hamilton! With every race, I'll most likely have one of these, just my favorite beer now. The Dutch really know their beer, and kickboxing.

Music of the Day.

The one and only.. Bob Marley. I thought I would start one of the best months of the year(my birthday) with a legend in Music.
