Spin Class Injuries

Proper stretching and posture is not just for fitness classes in which you stand up in, but for spinning as well. While in this class, you are stressing on the legs, hips, and backs while peddling yours legs. There are parts when you bend your body to sit back, usually arching your back. Through time this could lead to back problems if not performed correctly.
If a person is new to the class, they may not have the adjustments correct on the seat for their legs. If the person has a past knee injury then this could be a real problem. Remember to do proper stretching before class, and to not have your back hunched and your shoulders pointing down when leaning in forwards off the seat.
